Entry-level and next-generation resellers are invited to join the Dell EMC Axiz kick-off on Thursday 14 February, as Axiz aims to level the playing field in the marketplace. At this event, attendees will learn about this new project and obtain information on how they can gain a foothold into this dynamic and growing sector.

Axiz is an industry-leading IT value-added distributor focused on solutions ranging from edge client devices, core data centre hardware, and software-to-cloud software and services.

Terence Barter, executive, Dell EMC, Axiz, says: “We are inviting entry-level resellers as well as next-generation resellers to join us at this new and exciting venture, where we will take them through the concept and process, and afterwards we will offer them the opportunity of further training on how they can expand their earning potential.

“For example, we will take them from selling notebooks and desktops to selling servers from Dell EMC, because the portfolio is so big there are great opportunities in this sector throughout the region. In other words, we are aiming to establish a new breed of resellers.”

Those attending the event on Thursday 14 February will then be offered the opportunity to participate in a six-week learning experience as a well as a boot camp, where they will receive extensive training on both the sales and technical aspects of the products.

“We are not just a hardware distributor,” says Barter, “we are also a software, security and networking distributor. So we’re looking to partner and up-skill those who are specialised in one aspect of our business and draw them into reselling the whole Axiz portfolio, and not just concentrate in one particular silo.

“Our aim here is to further enhance their resell capabilities within the area they are currently operating, and slowly introduce them into expanding their footprints within the other products within our stable, therefore creating a synergy and integration of the products available and expand the reseller’s portfolio of products.”
